I began my journey as an emergency nurse for over a decade. I earned a graduate diploma in Critical Care Nursing. I loved the one on one interaction with patients, together with caring and nursing patients and their families through challenging times.
I strive to deliver a warm and positive experience for every client. Where your concerns are addressed and our treatments are designed so your natural beauty is illuminated.
Here’s where my story starts: Inspired by friends who transitioned into new careers and driven by my own lifelong struggles with skin issues. I embarked on a new path creating CLM Aesthetics.
I am continuously curious about skin health, its beauty and all the technological advancements when it comes to caring for our skin. This has led me to delve into scientific research, seeking to understand the cellular mechanisms behind skin conditions and the process of ageing, while exploring solutions in any way I could. This passion, combined with my love for skincare products, prompted me to merge my compassion for clients with my expertise in this dynamic industry. CLM Aesthetics was born.
I’m a proud mother of two wonderful boys, a wife, a water polo lover, and ex-surf lifesaving beach sprinter.
My academic background includes an undergraduate degree in nursing from UniSA and postgraduate specialisation in critical care from Adelaide University. My skills in cosmetic medicine have been perfected under the guidance and training of a distinguished group of doctors at Fresh Clinics.
Adhering to TGA guidelines and maintaining the highest standards of practice are paramount to me. Two of the main regulators (AHPRA and the TGA) have applied stricter rules around how cosmetic clinics advertise.
From March 7th 2024 it was clarified by the TGA that certain previously accepted methods of communicating with patients and marketing are now illegal.
Advertising prices of treatments is no longer allowed
Prices can of course still be discussed in person during your consultation, but they can’t be given over the phone, listed on a website or sent by email. Pricing must be quoted within the context of a consultation so that it is bespoke for your own needs.
Listing specific treatment areas is no longer allowed
New patients can now book in for a generic ‘New patient consultation’ and in person Courtney will explain what the best treatments are for your features. This helps avoid unrealistic expectations
