Due to TGA and AHPRA guidelines we are not able to advertise treatments areas.
Wrinkles are a natural part of the ageing process, influenced by various factors including genetics, environmental exposure, and lifestyle choices. As we age, our skin undergoes several changes that contribute to the formation of wrinkles. Understanding these changes can help us appreciate the importance of proper skincare and the potential benefits of consulting with a professional for tailored solutions such as forehead wrinkle treatment, frown wrinkle treatment and crow’s feet wrinkle treatments and more.
Wrinkles form primarily due to the breakdown of collagen and elastin in the skin as we age. Collagen, a protein that provides structure and strength, diminishes over time, leading to a loss of firmness and elasticity. Elastin, another crucial protein, allows the skin to snap back into place after stretching or contracting. As elastin production decreases, the skin becomes less resilient and more prone to sagging and wrinkles. Wrinkles are common when creating dynamic (moving) facial expressions for all ages, but overtime along with collagen, elastin loss and repetitive motion can turn into ‘static’ wrinkle formation (wrinkles visible without facial movement). This process often necessitates a targeted solution, so contact us for a consultation for wrinkle treatments.
Hyaluronic acid helps retain skin moisture, keeping it plump and hydrated. As we age, the production of hyaluronic acid decreases, resulting in drier and thinner skin that is more susceptible to wrinkling. Using hyaluronic acid products can help counteract these effects and maintain skin health.
Prolonged exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun can accelerate the ageing process by breaking down collagen and elastin fibres. This damage, known as photoaging, often results in fine lines, deep wrinkles, and uneven pigmentation. Frown wrinkle treatment can mitigate the effects of environmental damage, helping to smooth skin.
Smiling, frowning, and squinting cause skin to fold and crease. Over time, these movements form permanent lines and wrinkles (static lines), particularly on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes. Forehead wrinkle treatment and frown wrinkle treatment specifically target these areas to reduce the appearance of static lines, by reducing dynamic movement lines.
Smoking, poor nutrition, and inadequate hydration can contribute to premature skin ageing. These factors reduce the skin’s ability to repair itself and maintain its structural integrity. Incorporating healthy lifestyle choices alongside treatments like wrinkle reduction treatment can enhance overall skin health.

Two of the main regulators (AHPRA and the TGA) have applied stricter rules around how cosmetic clinics advertise.
From March 7th 2024 it was clarified by the TGA that certain previously accepted methods of communicating with patients and marketing are now illegal.
Advertising prices of treatments is no longer allowed
Prices can of course still be discussed in person during your consultation, but they can’t be given over the phone, listed on a website or sent by email. Pricing must be quoted within the context of a consultation so that it is bespoke for your own needs.
Listing specific treatment areas is no longer allowed
New patients can now book in for a generic ‘New patient consultation’ and in person Courtney will explain what the best treatments are for your features. This helps avoid unrealistic expectations
